Meet Dr Nina Ong (Dentist)
Dr Nina was inspired to become a dentist because she wanted to help anxious patients and change people’s minds who think that going to the dentist is scary.
Oral care/dental hygiene is healthcare that people can’t ignore but choose to avoid due to fear of the dentist, and I want to change that.”
Education and Professional Development
Dr Nina earned a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and a Master of Dentistry from Griffith University. She also studied veterinary science for three years.
To stay current in the field, Dr Nina also takes various professional development courses, including veneers and paediatric dentistry.
Helping Patients Smile With Greater Confidence
The most rewarding aspect of Dr Nina’s work is seeing her patients’ transformations—helping them regain confidence in their smiles and overcome their fears of visiting the dentist. She takes pride in building trust with her patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported throughout their treatment journey.
Outside the Practice
When she’s not brightening smiles in the clinic, Dr Nina enjoys unwinding at home by indulging in her passion for cooking. She loves experimenting with new recipes and sharing her culinary creations with her family. Dr Nina is also a devoted mother of three and treasures spending quality time with her children.
