Dr Luke Dodd (Dentist)
Dr Luke was born and raised in Perth, Western Australia, where he spent the first 26 years of his life before relocating to the East Coast to further his career. He attended high school in Perth before earning his Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Western Australia in 1985.
A Career Built on Experience and Dedication
After completing his degree, Dr Luke spent two years working in the public health system before joining the Australian Army as a Dental Officer. Over the next 15 years, he provided dental care to military personnel and retired with the rank of Major.
Following his time in the Army, Dr Luke transitioned into private practice, where he successfully ran his own clinic for 20 years. Today, he continues his passion for dentistry as an Associate Dentist, bringing decades of experience to every patient he treats.
Caring for Patients with Skill and Compassion
With over 40 years in the field, Dr Luke has a wealth of experience. He is passionate about providing high-quality dental care tailored to each patient’s needs. He takes pride in offering thoughtful, well-informed treatment options and enjoys working on complex cases, including root canals, implants, and aesthetic dentistry.
He believes in a proactive approach to oral health, often quoting:

Life Beyond Dentistry
When he’s not crafting beautiful, functional smiles for patients, Dr Luke has a passion for adventure and discovery. He enjoys flying light aircraft, aerobatics, gliding, photography, and astronomy. He also likes to keep fit and stays active through mountain biking, go-karting, motorbiking, and cycling. Music is another one of Dr Luke’s passions.
